Our Grade 7 students celebrated Earth Day by going off of the school grounds to pick up litter. The theme for Earth Day 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics so after learning about how plastics are used and misused, we went off to do a little bit to clean the environment. We were surprised at some of the items that were found but were not so surprised at how often plastic is found along roadsides and in the woods 😶‍🌫️
