Help Ukraine

Home    •    Community    •    Help Ukraine

We are supporting refugees with several initiatives targeted to the Frankfurt Refugee Centre, where refugees from Ukraine arrive initially, before they are accommodated in individual centres in Hessen.

MSF is providing daily food supplies through our school kitchen in cooperation with Werksküchen Catering and through our teacher Kelly Mann, for up to 200 refugees per day, including snacks, fruit and a hot meal for the arrivals after their long journey. The school will initially cover the cost, but we fear that this initiative will need to run for quite some time and we would be very grateful for any (tax deductible) donations members of the MSF community are able to make to help sustain this effort over time.

Donations can be sent to the following MSF account:  Taunus Sparkasse, Bad Homburg | SWIFT/BIC  HELADEF1 TSK | IBAN DE74 5125 0000 0000 3266 66 with the reference “Donation / Spende” only, without any further words. All donations will receive a Spendenbescheinigung, making it tax deductible.

MSF is also providing some of the daily necessities for refugees. MSF is collecting the following items and we ask any members of our community who wish to contribute, to please bring items from the list to our collection point in front of the cafeteria between 8:00 and 9:00 and  from 15:00 to 16:00 during each school day. There will be labelled containers for these goods. Please find the list of the goods currently required here.

Our Secondary students (CAS and Duke of Edinburgh Award students) are helping to sort these donations.

And last but not least, we will welcome a small number of refugee students from Ukraine, on a pro bono basis, until their future schooling will be available in Ukraine or here in Germany.

Thank you to all our community for your support and care. By supporting others, we model to our students the values of our great MSF community and how together we can build something stronger for our children.
