The purpose of the Student Council is to provide a link between students and the school. Student Council representatives are the elected voice of the student body, bringing forward ideas and initiatives to enrich the MSF community. The Student Council provides an opportunity for student leadership and student autonomy.
Students from Grade 6 through Grade 12 elect two representatives per grade. Secondary students meet two times per month to discuss issues affecting them and their school lives. The representatives contribute positively to their community, discussing issues affecting student life and learning, organising events such a sprit days, and raising funds for various causes.
