Our Grade 11 ESS and French students on the Paris trip have been busy learning about the urban green spaces and sustainability in Paris. They went on the tour of the NU Rooftop garden and of course took pictures at Notre Dame and Montmarte 🤗

Our Kindergarten students went to a local garden center and bought some flowers, fruits, and veggie plants and seeds to plant a couple of weeks ago. On the same day, they planted them and waited to see them bloom and sprout. They take turns to water the plants and observe the difference over time! 😚🌱

For Earth Day, our Grade 6 Outdoor Education students learned more about the ‘life-span’ of various plastics and micro-plastic bioaccumulation. They then went out to collect as much as possible in one of our local parks. It was very surprising just how much doesn’t make it to proper disposal systems! 😗🌱🌳
