Parents may enrol their students into the school lunch programme or choose home lunches. Transition lunches take place in our Cafeteria, where we provide a balanced menu prepared by our inhouse chef. Kindergarten groups eat their lunch in their individual classrooms.
MSF provides children with fresh fruit and vegetables for every morning and afternoon snack break. The monthly snack calendar and weekly lunch menu are shared on the Cafeteria Page.
MSF is a nut-free school.
Kindergarten and Transition children learn to brush their teeth using the so-called KAI (Kaufläche – Außenflächen – Innenflächen) method.
Once a year, we visit our partner dentist or she visits us for an annual checkup.
During the day, internal cleaning staff ensure that our facilities stay clean and tidy.
At the end of each day, our rooms are cleaned by our contracted cleaning company following the specific hygiene rules for cleaning in kindergartens.
In addition, since March 2020, an Early Years Hygiene Plan has been developed to include the specific corona-related hygiene rules.
Children generally start in the Early Years programme once they are toilet-trained. Teachers here will encourage children to independently use our close-by bathrooms and also support children if they need help.
